Coparropa continues winning ways

"She is our swimmer of the meet," Auburn assistant swimming coach Kim Brackin said of Panamanian sprinter Eileen Coparropa, after the latter continued her collegiate 50-meter freestyle winning streak by besting all whom the Lady Vols and the Northwestern Wildcats had to offer at a January 13 meet in Knoxville. "Right now she is like a sponge and is applying everything she learns to her racing," the coach said. The Auburn women's swimming team is fifth in the NCAA rankings.
