Danilo Ovalle and David Quintero have released their first CD as Danny & David, a tipico act that Ovalle describes as "cumbia stylized for export, with strong Vallenato influences." Ovalle, the singer, wrote most of the songs on this collection, which are about love, requited and otherwise. Ovalle is a very good singer and Quintero's accordion playing is tight and professional, so we should expect more from Danny & David in the years to come.
