largely from North America, but this is a rather thorough science
text with illustrations for sophisticated readers, rather than
a collection of dioramas for young kids.
A Spanish-language guide to the various maritime and multi-modal
industries. It's Panama-oriented and has a photo archive and a

The international jury of the 44th annual World Press Photo Contest
has selected as World Press Photo of the Year 2000 a color picture
by the US freelance photographer Lara Jo Regan. Her picture, taken
for Life magazine in March, shows a mother and her children in
their home in Texas Americans who do not exist in the official
records of the US population.
