Panama's only English-language theater, The Theatre Guild of Ancon, (located
next to the Fiscalia Auxiliar ) is delighted to present the delightful Christmas
story "IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE" on November 23, 24, 25 and 30, and
December 1 and 2, 2001.
This is the well-loved Frank Capra story of George Bailey, the man with
the biggest heart in all of Bedford Falls who is driven to abject despair
by financial woes on Christmas Eve 1945. A visit by a guardian angel named
Clarence gives him a chance to see what his surprisingly rich life has really
meant to everyone around him.
The tale that has charmed movie audiences for decades has been newly adapted
for the stage, with a Theatre Guild cast of 29 talented actors spanning generations
from ages 7 to 70. More than 20 students from Crossroads Bible Academy, the
British School, the Oxford International School and the International School
of Panama are participating in the show.
This is currently the only holiday play (in any language) scheduled this
season in Panama City. Don't miss a great opportunity to offer something special
to your families this Christmas. Introduce a classic to your friends and family
with "IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE." It's great entertainment for everyone
and is entirely in English. We hope to see you there!
