The National Police's boat, whose crew worked in the canal area, are going to have a hard time taking the open classification title back this year --- they're going to be facing at least five international crews in the Ocean-to-Ocean Cayuco Race, including two from Britain's Royal Navy.

Cayuco racing season gets underway on February 24 at Amador, with the race from the Balboa Yacht Club to the end of the causeway and back.
