I'm a Panamanian who lives in New Jersey. I attended my first carnival this year and I was pleasantly surprised to see the extensive degree of participation of all groups in this event. I must tell you that it really made me proud to say " Soy panameño." I'm in the process of making a short video of Panama that I plan to present to the board of tourism. I hope that next year more Panamanians abroad will come home to enjoy and contribute in the celebration. I have attached one of many photos that I have taken of carnival. I hope to have an opportunity to meet with you next year when I come back home for carnival. By the way, your paper is extremely informative. Keep up the good work!
