Cayuco season is about underway, which is why these girls were launching their boat at the Diablo boat ramp for an afternoon of practice.

The season's first event was the February 24 race from the Balboa Yacht Club to the end of the Amador Causeway and back. Then, on March 9 at the Gamboa Rainrforest Resort, the annual Gamboa Regatta sprints will take place.

As usual, the main event that brings international attention and participation, the Ocean-to-Ocean race, takes place the weekend before Easter.
