Despite a controversial and ultimately unsuccessful proposal to make English Panama's official second language in the first regular Legislative Assembly session this year, and many political pronouncements on how to improve English teaching along with other aspects of Panama's educational system, the politicians have neglected to talk to these people. TESOL maintains an office in and meets at the Muchachas Guias (Girl Scouts) building in Perejil. Photo by Eric Jackson
