Down the Road

Dear Dr. Mutt,

My master and I have had a spat. I wanted him to walk with me, but he told me he was too tired. So when he opened the gate to give me a biscuit, I ran off. I thought he'd follow me, but it's been two days, and he hasn't come to get me. He knows where I am because the last time I ran away, he came with a leash adn brought me home. I'm beginning to worry. Suppose he doesn't come for me? There's not much to eat around here, and it looks like rain. What should I do?

Depressed and Dirty near the Dumpster

Dear Depressed and Dirty,

Go home. Use your nose, and smell your way back. Be mature and responsible. He might fuss at you a bit, but he'll be happy to see you and he'll forgive you. Masters are like that. No matter how cranky they seem, they love their dogs

So put your tail between your legs and go home!

Sparky
