This El Cangrejo landmark, the centerpiece of Plaza Einstein, is disappearing from view because the city has planted two large ficus trees in the traffic island on which the statue is set, making it nearly impossible to see from Via Argentina and at the same time causing a significant traffic hazard. Photo by Eric Jackson, taken while standing between the two trees in question.
