Where
there's fire, there's carbon monoxide --- which can be measured
from outer space. Here we have a composite satellite map of
carbon monoxide concentrations over Meso-America during the
last days of April and the beginning of May. The onset of
seasonal rains put out most of our fires, but our neightbors to
