Some Carlos Cortés CDs, with beautifully arranged local music such as "El tambor de la alegria," "La cocaleca," "Guararé" and "Dime la verdad," in honor of the "Centenario de la República," have been made available to raise some funds for La Casita de Mausi.

La Casita is a temporary home for those cancer patients from the Interior who have no place to go during their visit to the Hospital Oncologico (part of the former Gorgas Hospital) for treatment. The patients are recommended by the social workers and are not covered by Social Security.
