Dear Friends and Members of The Theatre Guild of Ancon:

As we enter our 54th year, we renew our commitment to show quality theatre in the English language, for and by our members, as stated in our bylaws, and also for the general English-speaking public.

A new Board of Governors was elected in July of this year. We face new challenges, we will experience new triumphs, and the Theatre Guild of Ancon will prevail and grow stronger than ever before. As a Board, we are committed to provide a space for budding actors, directors, dramatists and technicians of every sort, and who speak any language, not just English, to have a space in which to hone their craft. We also want to start new traditions at the Guild. In addition to the usual productions, we have planned workshops for actors, makeup artists, directors, producers, and technicians, and the creation of Junior Workshops for children under 18.

In this vein, we wish to invite you to our Opening Night for the 2003-2004 Season. The idea behind this event is to re-introduce to you, our current members, and to all our friends in the general public, the media and the international community, to what the Theatre Guild is all about. Your attendance to this event is vital, so that we may encourage others to join our ranks. Our Opening Night of the Season will take place on Wednesday, September 10, 2003 from 7 to 10 p.m. Dress is casual, as usual. We will be serving wine and cheese. Security at the parking lot will be provided.
