Panama's Girl Scouts --- the Muchachas Guias --- have been busy lately, with their annual national campout at their campground north of Penonome.

This is also the season when rain doesn't come through the roof, but meanwhile the roof at the Muchachas Guias national headquarters on Calle Primera in Perejil needs to be replaced just as much as it did during rainy season.

For more information about buying Muchachas Guias raffle tickets, visit the office between 9 a.m. and 4 pm. on weekdays or call them at (507) 225-5653. To directly deposit a contribution into the account that has been set up fol a new roof, put the money into account number 01-05-015753-2 (which is in the name of "Asociación de Muchachas Guías de Panamá) at any branch of the Caja de Ahorros.
