Dear Dr. Mutt,

I am so proud of myself! I just earned my PHD (Pretty High Dog)! The Master and the Mistress used to spend their afternoons on the patio, but they built a deck with a spiral staircase that leads up to the roof. Now they spend most of their time up in the clouds watching the sun set and the stars rise. At first I thought they had built the deck to get away from me, but I was wrong because they encouraged me to come up.

Once I learned how to climb up and down those stairs, it was a piece of cake, and PUPPY, what a view from the top! I dragged up my mat and pull guard duty 24/7 on the roof. Now, I only go down for meals. Life is good, and I love it!

Your higher education has given you a new perspective on life. We canines can do whatever we set our minds to do. We are a force to contend with, and humans would do well to emulate us. Congratulations. Your Master and Mistress should be proud.
