Salty Dog
Dear Dr. Mutt,
I was born and raised on the beach, and I love the sand and the surf and the sun, but my big problem is the salt. No matter how much I swim, I can't get rid of it, and my fur is stiff and spiky and itchy --- a real chick deterrent! What can I do to make my fur soft so the gals will like me? I'm serious.
Dear Spiked,
Some humans use shampoo, but since you live on the beach, you probably don't have access to any. So find a river and jump in. Swim around for a few minutes then roll in the grass to dry off. Rivers use fresh water, so a splash bath should help remove the salt and curb the itchiness. If you do this at least once a week, your fur should soften up.
Good luck and happy surfing!
