Bunny Hop
Dear Dr. Mutt,
The other day I was out scouting for my master when I came across the strangest looking dog. He looked like a cross between a Basset and a kangaroo. He had big long ears and stood on his hind legs, but he had no pouch and just a little bunch of hair where his tail should have been. We stared at each other for a few moments, and then when I tried to talk to him, he hopped away. I must have scared him, I guess.
When my master came along, I pointed him in the opposite direction because I felt sorry for the little guy. I think we could have been friends had we had more time.
Perplexed in Pecan Island
Dear Perplexed,
By the description you give, it sounds like the dog you thought you saw was actually a jack rabbit, and if your master finds out that you sent him on a wild goose chase, he will be very upset with you. However, that was a very kind deed you did, but don't go looking for that bunny because you could lose a lot more than your tail. Just be careful.
