A Brief History of
Terrorism

Yeah, yeah. “Our
guys” are “freedom fighters.” This site, however, succinctly puts the
phenomenon into historical perspective.
Decomposition: what
happens to the body after death

They show some of the
worms that crawl in and crawl out, but there’s nothing about them playing
pinochle on your snout. This site is not meant to gross you out, however,
but to introduce you to a science that is very important to modern
homicide investigations, among other things.
The Other Israel

Actually, the Jewish
peace movement is stronger in Israel than in the United States, and this
is one of its online expressions.
The Peace Pumpkin

Was this designed both
to offend John Ashcroft’s religious objections to Halloween and overload
his subversives lists?
Yusuf Islam

The Agence France
Presse wire service reports that the singer and philanthropist, formerly
known as Cat Stevens, was detained and thrown out of the United States
because of a spelling error in George W. Bush’s secret enemies list of
people who are not allowed to fly, a list that also includes US Senator
Edward M. Kennedy and US Representative John Lewis. Speaking for the
Department of Homeland Security, Asa Hutchinson refused to give a reason
for the detention and deportation. But that was a “clarification” of what
the Bush administration previously told the Associated Press: “The
government official, who spoke only on condition of anonymity, said Islam
was placed on a watch list after multiple intelligence sources in recent
weeks indicated the peace activist may have associations with potential
terrorists.” Which, by all evidence on record about Mr. Islam, who is a
friend of Prince Charles and Tony Blair, is just another in a long string
of lies by Mr. Bush and his underlings. This site, Yusuf Islam’s own, is a
good place to learn what the man really thinks about the violence that
gets committed in the name of Islam.
