Americans residing in Panama may mail their absentee ballots through the Embassy Post Office (APO). Please bring your ballots to the APO, Calle 38 and Avenida Balboa, during operating hours Monday through Friday (10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., and 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.), and ask to see a postal employee. The ballots can not be accepted by the security guard.
To register and request your ballot under the Federal Voting Assistance Program
If you have already registered and have not received your Absentee Ballot, pick up your Voter's Declaration/Affirmation Form, SF186, at the American Citizen Service Office, Bldg 520, Clayton. Working hours: Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. In most states, the deadline to register to vote has passed.
