The magic begins
Teatro de los Ninos, Panama's newest and most exciting entertainment venue for children, is pleased to announce their upcoming production for the Christmas Season, "La Bella & La Bestia", will debut November 18. Performances will continue through December 12 in the auditorium of Florida State University-Panama (formerly Panama Canal College). Hannia Woodman, well-known personality in the city's theatrical and creative world, is directing this premier production.
"La Bella y La Bestia," and the 2005 roster of six full-length children's plays, will feature some of Panama's finest actors performing plays specially written for children by the famed "Classics On Stage" Children's Theatre of Chicago and presented in Panama for the first time. The international cast includes Angelica Lavitola, Jaime Newball, Barbara Jay, Cecilia Brizzone, Elmir Fadul, Jaime Arosemena, Ray Moscarella and Rosa Alterio. "La Bella y La Bestia" is produced by Omega Entertainment Group with all performances in Spanish.
