Escuela Estado de Minnesota has friends to the north

On November 17 a 40-member delegation from Minnesota and representatives of the US Embassy went to the Escuela Estado de Minnesota, in the Arraijan neighborhood of Loma Cova, to deliver school supplies, sports equipment and other items. Some of the donations were the result of collections taken at public schools in Minnesota. The Minnesota National Guard has a long relationship with the school, and that has expanded into ties between various politicians and the public school system in that state. This year's delegation included representatives of the National Guard, school officials, business people and high school students.
