35th Annual Christmas Bird Count

Pacific Count: December 19

Central Count: December 26

Atlantic Count: January 2

This annual bird count is not only a social event for the birding community, an opportunity for newcomers to become acquainted with the pastime and its practitioners and part of Panama's ecotourism industry. It's also the source of a valuable record of environmental trends, a database that helps create the possibility of informed public policy decisions.

For the specific details of how you can get involved, send an email to audupan@cwpanama.net or call the Audubon office at 224-4740.
