Backstage at the Ancon Theatre

A theater production is a lot more than what you see on the stage. The Theatre Guild of Ancon, Panama's English-language theater group, is a little community, and part of the larger English-speaking community, that's always looking for new members, not all of whom will take to the stage.

Before the play with high school student and actress Brittney Lani and costume designer Veronica Crawford-Jones. From a certain perspective, Brittney has more seniority at the Guild. Veronica, however, came to Panama with decades of experience as a professional costume designer and is now lending a hand at the Guild.

It's not nearly so complicated as, for example, the werewolf transformation, but still, it takes makeup to change one's persona from theater director to an exceptionally creepy piece of work.
