Director Bruce Quinn's next musical, the adaptation into Spanish of the musical Nuncrackers, will start at the Teatro En Circulo on November 9.

Says Bruce Quinn about this adaptation:

Rather than Hoboken, NJ, I changed the locale and now setting the show in a convent in the barrio of Herbruger right here in Panama City.  The "Candy Shop" will be a "Piñata Tienda."   I have change all the references to a US environment to a Panamanian setting.  My favorite is that I have change the lotto drawing scene to a lottery drawing here in the Lottery Plaza when the extraordinaria is drawn.  The guy playing the  priest is superb because he is ad libing all the cliches done by the announcers at a lottery drawing.  It's hilarious and I am sure that this scene itself will sell the remaining unsold nights once the word gets out in the streets via radio bemba.
