The day they set aside for Panama's student bands

Of course, the biggest crowds and most bands were on the streets of Panama City on Independence Day and Flag Day. But on those occasions you had the bombero and police bands, independent bands, delegations from governmental entities and community groups, and so on. And on those days a bunch of the nation's student bands were marching in smaller parades in the provincial cities.

So a few days earlier, on October 30, there was the all-day national student band parade on Calle 50. Retired Master Sergeant Keith M. Knitter was there to take photos and graciously sent them to The Panama News to publish.
