There a flashy new casino and hotel in Panama City, and the ads promoting it show white faces only. An ad agency recently sought well-muscled bodies for a men's underwear promotion, and one bodybuilder was specifically told that people with dark skin like his need not apply. We're sending yet another fula to represent Panama in the Miss World contest. Despite national and municipal laws addressing the specific subject, we still hear of Panama City night clubs finding various excuses to exclude black people. And the ubiquitous practice of requiring a passport-size photo on every job application remains the screen by which the most reactionary sliver of the nation's white minority maintains a system of pervasive employment discrimination.

And now the Comite en Contra del Racismo is selling these double bracelet sets so that people can quietly show their opposition to the photo requirement on job applications and racial discrimination in general.
