Who would have bought?

Dear Dr. Mutt,

I thought I understood the ways of the world, but I was sorely mistaken. Life is not what it appears to be! I thought that we would be safe from shysters, but I was wrong!  It seems that someone without scruples convinced me to invest more than I had into an investment situation without merit. What can I say? I was a fool. I went for the bargains without listening to the warnings! Be prudent. Be cautious. Be wise. What more can I say?
