The corporate sponsor for this year's cayuco racing season was Nissan. The results shown above were taken from the Club de Remo de Balboa website, which you can see by clicking onto the Cayuco Racing button below.

The crew for this year's overall winner, SNAFU, came from Tampa, Florida. This is one sign of the growing international profile of this competition.

Clearly the outstanding performance was by Misbehavin', in the Open Class's Female Category. The women of this crew broke the records for all but one leg of the race and for overall time in its category.

The canal division of the National Police sponsored the Expreso Comando boat, as it has for many years. Reviewing these results, you maleantes out there should take notice: it would be very foolish to try to outrun the police in a cayuco. Of all these crews that trained for months, only three managed to go from ocean to ocean faster than the cops did.
