You get to Taboga by way of a 45-minute boat ride from this dock on the Amador Causeway, next door to the Smithsonian's Marine Exhibition Center. On Tuesdays and Thursdays the launches make only one trip to the island and back in the morning, but on other weekdays the boats leave for Taboga at 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Photo by Eric Jackson
