The editor of The Panama News gets frequent emails from people thinking about a move to Panama, asking for various kinds of advice or assistance. In one of the more unusual ones, a man eager to make the move wanted some editorial assurance to his doubtful wife to the effect that we don't get a lot of rain in Panama. What's "a lot" is of course relative, but the truth is that we have a long rainy season and that most parts of Panama get more rain than most other parts of the world. Some of us like this, and for some who enjoy our rainy seasons it's an acquired taste. Do you want to know if you like Panama in the rainy season? Then come visit Panama in the rainy season. Here we see a storm moving over Panama Bay toward Panama City. Photo by Eric Jackson
