Democrats Abroad – Panama quarterly meeting

Democrats Abroad Panama will hold its third quarter meeting on Saturday August 19.  A buffet lunch will be served.  The cost is $10.50 per person.

Michelle Jovar, Voting Officer of the United States Embassy in Panama, will address us and answer questions about registering to vote by absentee ballot.  Her presentation will be the meeting's first business.

Bill Speed has come up with a plan for funding our organization that he wishes to explain and propose for adoption.

No other formal business is on the agenda.  However, it might be interesting to have a straw poll of Democratic candidates for president in 2008, just to see where our preferences lie.  If the group cares to do this, we will.

The meeting will be held at the Executive Hotel. The meeting room is on the 2nd floor and will be available from 10:30 a.m. on.  The meeting will be called to order at 11:00.

Dick Koster

Chair, Democrats Abroad - Panama
