Deacon Ornoldo Surgeon

Bocas native to be ordained as Episcopalian priest in Florida

The previously postponed ordination ceremony for Deacon Ornoldo Surgeon is now slated for Saturday September 30, 2006. The services will begin at 10:00 AM at the Episcopal Church of the Atonement located in Ft. Lauderdale at 4401, West Oakland Park Blvd, Lauderdale Lakes, Florida 33313.

Deacon Surgeon will be elevated to the Sacred Order of Priest in Christ's One Holy, Catholic & Apostolic Church by the Rt. Rev. Leopold Frade, Episcopalian Bishop of Southeast Florida. Surgeon, of Panamanian descent from Bocas del Toro, Panama, has been extensively active for many years in all phases of his faith within Panama and the United States. Family, friends and well wishers are invited cordially to attend his ordination.
