Devil Dog

 

Dear Dr. Mutt,

 

We live in a heavily forested area, and all sorts of strange creatures crawl through our yard. Usually, it’s not too scary, but the other day an enormous dog with HORNS showed up on the other side of the fence. I was going to bark, but it was so big I decided to look the other way. Then when I looked again, it was gone. What a relief! But now, my big worry is what to do if it shows up again? I’m not a chicken, doc, but this is serious stuff. Please help me.

First, let’s get this straight. There are no dogs with horns. However, there are animals that have horns and look like dogs, and the most common in your area are called DEER. They live in the forest and eat foliage. They’re easy-going, so you mustn’t worry, and you are not a chicken by any means.
