Penonome Art Festival

"Art in the Park"

Penonome, January 25, 2007

Dear Friends of Art,

The Organizing Committee for the First Penonome Art Festival --- to be called "Arte en el Parque" invites you to a pictorial exposition that will be held on Saturday, March 31, 2007 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Parque 8 de Diciembre in Penonome.

We expect the participation of artists both on the national level and from throughout the region. The works of the participating artists will be for sale if they want them to be.

Both attendance by the public at and registration of artists for the festival is free. At the end of the activity we will issue issue a certificate of participation to each of the artists who participated. If we can raise enough funds, we want to provide economic support during the 2007 school year to a student at the Escuela de Bellas Artes Estelina Tejeira by way of a scholarship.
