Mite's looking for a long-term partnership

Mite's a male who, as some of you old time comic strip fans might notice, bears a certain resemblance to Little Orphan Annie's dog.

LOTS of people who are on their own have found that the ancient partnership between humans and canines is very often a life-saver, as was the case with the fictional Little Orphan Annie. There's now plenty of modern medical research to confirm this old knowledge about people and dogs.

Mite's a very friendly dog and needs to hook up with a friendly person for that sort of mutually beneficial relationship that would properly be called symbiotic but for the tendency of many people to consider it rude to use terminology that puts human beings in nature's continuum, even though we obviously are.
