For those of you who can read little or no Spanish, Casita de Mausi is a

charitable organization that provides shelter and support for cancer

patients and their families when they come from the Interior to the

Instituto Oncologico Nacional without the resources to get a hotel room.

They're having a benefit bake sale on Sunday, April 1 in the parking

lot of the Banco General branch at Costa del Este from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The event will also include a baking contest for kids under 14, with prizes

for the best  cookie and the best brownie. Top chefs from Panama's

hotels and restaurants will be donating their work for this good cause
