Glasses for the masses

The Luxotica Foundation, a charity associated with a company that includes the Lenscrafters, Pearl Vision and other eye care chains in North America, recently teamed up with Panama's Lions Clubs, volunteers from Louisville University and the Church of Latter Day Saints and others to hold a massive "Give the Gift of Sight" event at the USMA Gym. Thousands of people had their eyes examined and more than 26,000 people got the glasses they need, free of charge.
