Bonding Ties

 

 

Dear Dr. Mutt,

When I was born I was placed in a paper bag along with my six brothers and sisters and thrown in the dumpster. If a kind and loving human had not found us, I would not be writing to you today. Though we had a tough beginning, life has been good to me. I’m not too sure about my brothers and sisters because I have not seen them since our discovery, but the good human found homes for them and since no one wanted me; he kept me for himself, for which I am most grateful. He is my best friend. No complaints.

You are most fortunate to have been found by someone so loving, and though you and your siblings faced such horrid beginnings, it warms the heart to know that among the human race there are those who can be so generous.
