Dear Dr. Mutt,

It is not my usual way to write for advice, but since I am in a strange land, perhaps it makes more sense. Yesterday, I arrived in a new land, and the Custom’s agent asked for my papers. Of course, my master gave them to him, but then began the big “encounter” for the entire world to see: I had to parade in front of everybody, and of course listen to the comments about my privates, et al. I feel so humiliated. Why do they do this? What were they looking for? Is this humiliation necessary?

Dear Bullied,

You’re in a new land with new rules, and one has to adjust to those rules. Parading can only be humiliating if you allow it to be so, but if you strut your stuff and forget about the rest, there is no shame. So be proud to be a canine!
