Birthday Madness

 

 

Dear Dr. Mutt,

 

Today the human puppy celebrated his fifth birthday, and what an event it was! Noise in the form of screeches above the highest decibels cannot begin to describe the bedlam. I was tempted to snap and growl at the worst of the lot, but in an effort to control my anger, I tried to run and hide, but the master kept commanding me to stay, so stay I did, being the obedient canine that I am, but I think my ears are permanently damaged, and my tail may never wag again from the pulling and stretching of his little friends. At least, I got to clean up the leftovers.

You are one good dog! Normally the humans chain us up during their parties, so this shows how much your master trusts you. You deserve a medal!
