Moving On

Dear Dr. Mutt,

By tomorrow we should be across the country in a totally new place, and I am distraught. We had this wonderful place with a huge back yard. I was happy there, and so was the cat! We could romp at will without messing with each other’s fur. But alas, the master decided to move, and we are part of the luggage! I wanted to stay, but I’m not dumb, though I’m not so sure that I can adjust so easily. Any suggestions?

Dear Ears,

As you said, you are not dumb! Once you have arrived at your new location, check it out and mark off your territory! Then sit back and relax for a while. Get to know the area, and then talk to the chicks that live there. Make friends! Do this and you should be well-adjusted in no time. Don’t fret. Life is what we make of it!
