Pat Quinn's RP theater return wasn't followed by a vanishing act
Pat Quinn, the daughter of an Irish-American father and Panamanian mother, went to the USA to make her mark in thespian circles, acting on stage, television and in the movies and also working in various capacities in the education of younger generations of actors. Earlier this year her return to Panama was marked by a bit of community theater, as director of the Theatre Guild of Ancon's production of the canonical Tennessee Williams play The Night of the Iguana.
When that play was over, Quinn was nowhere to be seen in the city.
What happened was that she and her cat retreated to a quiet place in the Interior, where she could concentrate her efforts on writing a screenplay.
So what next? Maybe a dramatic reading over the holidays. Certainly a trip to the States to deal with sundry business details including some related to this screenplay, and to visit her kids.
And then, sometime next year, Pat Quinn plans to be back in Panama to do some filming.
