Mark Boswell alias Rex Freeman, the erstwhile "patriot" movement radio shill who brought the world the astounding news that it wasn't Tim McVeigh but rather the Clinton White House that was behind the Oklahoma City federal building bombing, now a financial columnist for Don Winner's Panama Guide, has a dream. It's spelled out in some emails that The Panama News has obtained from a former member of the executive board of Boswell / Freeman's Venture Resources Group (VRG):

Here are some quick notes to follow up on the subject of the private credit union we are looking to set up for our own purposes.

#1... Reminder: The Executive Summary is available as a downloadable Word document in the 'Files' section of the VRGFinance homepage in YahooGroups.

#2...Credit Union membership will be for VRG 'Members 'Only'. Think about what that can do to help build your VRG 'team', business and income!

#3...As a credit union, i.e. a Savings and Loan Association, we are considered by the law of the home country to be a 'private club' and thus exempt from banking regulations so long as our numbers are limited.

Think about what this means in terms of personal and financial privacy !!! I won't spell it out. I'm sure you can surmise the importance of this 'small' detail !! shhhhh! it's really quite HUGE !!

#4...If you have read my 'teaser' in the VRGPartners group, you can see that I will be inviting the public at large in our VRGPartners group to be aware of this opportunity to ensure that we have sufficient participation from the founding investors for this project.

What this means is that the opportunity to be one of the 'founding owners' of the CU is very limited and will be short lived.

Existing members of VRG (you) are getting the first option to be involved as a founder. Letters of interest received from existing VRG members before July 1st will be given first priority to participate, before all others.

We wish to have all letters of interest submitted by the first week of July and the founding members selected, confirmed and in place by July 15.

August 1st, we would like to have all transfers complete to fund the escrow account and launch the project.

The month of August we will complete all due dilgence, create the necessary companies, issue shares and complete or substantially progress towards completing the legal requirements of the credit union.

September will be a buffer to complete all necessary requirements for the foundational elements of the business plan.

Note: For years, I have had the dream of entering into the banking business on a proprietary basis. With the direction of the banking requirements in the world today, this seemed to be a fleeting dream and near impossibility.

We all now have the opportunity of a lifetime (in my humble opinion) which is ripe for the picking.

If you won't be with us as a founding owner, I'm sure you will certainly enjoy the benefits of being a credit union 'member' once we are ready to roll with this exceptional opportunity.

VRG will have it's own banking facility via our private, fully legally compliant credit union with internet banking and debit card facilities !

Editor's comment: I would imagine that psychologists, forensic investigators and discerning potential investors would see some importance in Boswell / Freeman's choices of some of the things that that he put in quotation marks in the preceding and following email messages.

We all know how difficult banking has become. Even with an account, you have zero privacy anymore and you never know `who's watching' your movements!

With laws what they are, all it takes is for someone to `not like you' and you become a target who is reported, surveilled and `dossiered' .

Worse yet, you might be labeled an outright `criminal' for victimless `crimes against the state'.

Just a quick notice that Eve and I have been in Panama since last Thursday. We're working on a variety of projects, making some excellent contacts and further building our existing business relationships which will help float our VRG ship to exciting new destinations.

Apologies to you if we haven't been as prompt as usual in replying to emails and requests but all will be back to normal as of Wednesday.

The Credit Union project due diligence is now complete and there have been some twists and turns which have been navigated very well. The 'lynch pin' element of banking relationships, licenses to handle third party funds and bank approvals for the credit union has been solved along with some other key elements to our success in that project. This is an extremely exciting development and we are moving forward on this project very nicely. Founding members can expect a complete interim report when we get back. We still have room for up to 3 more founding member positions if that means anything to anybody.

Omnibus account statements for July are ready as I understand, and will be sent out before the end of the week.

We will be bringing on some new secure internet based tracking and administrative systems which will contrast current systems like a blow torch contrasts against a stick fire.

The new CFD account will be funded upon our return and participants in that will have further information before the end of the week as well.

We are exploring real estate opportunities here which are very exciting and about 10% of the cost or less, than what we have in Costa Rica. This will be a whole new area of opportunity. It's a different market for sure in many ways.

Contacts made in financial circles here we hope will aid in our quest to bring in more investor participation in the 're-compras' business and conferences as well. We may even begin to make arrangements to do our own 're-compras' business in Panama as well as Costa Rica. The opportunities are there.

We have identified and secured some spectacular venues and good deals on arrangements for future conferences. You will be excited to participate in the conferences we have planned for Panama. Stay tuned for more on that.

Editor's update: Mark Boswell alias Rex Freeman still offers "banking" services on his VRG website. I am advised by legal counsel and people with experience in the banking industry that his "credit union" dodge around banking and actual credit union laws and regulations is, according to the rules of the game in Panama, ridiculous. However, my questions to the Banking Superintendency about Boswell / Freeman's offer of "banking" services have gone unanswered. See, we do have laws here in Panama, but we hardly have the rule of law and many a gringo hustler has bought or otherwise obtained the protection of authorities whose job it is to shut down their scams.

Marc Harris, Tom McMurrain, Father Ron Kelly, Eddie Ray Kahn, etc., etc., and now Mark Boswell alias Rex Freeman. Except to those rare pieces of work who never see a scam that they don't like, it gives Panama a bad name.
