Dear Dr. Mutt,

I’m upset. The master has left me again. He keeps going off for days at a time and I’m left to fend for myself with the caretaker! Why doesn’t he take me with him? I want to see the world beyond the garage! This is so unfair!

Traveling is not all it’s cracked up to be, especially for us canines: By car, we need an open window; by train, we get the cattle car; by boat, we get the boiler room; and by plane, we go cargo! None of it a pleasant ride! Actually, your master seems quite thoughtful. Instead of sending you to a dog hostel, you have a personal caretaker. Consider yourself lucky!
