This particular Taiwanese flick, El Rap de Chocolate, is about a break dancer who gets into romantic difficulties. It's part of a festival of cinema from Taiwan that runs at the Cine Universitario on the main University of Panama campus from November 22 through December 2. Taiwan is Chinese in many ways and not at all in others, and it's a big argument both on the de facto independent island and in the rest of the world. Taiwanese film scene is the product of a far more democratic society than mainland China's and it shows.
