Her Majesty Queen Heidi
If you believe the great majority of the ads you see here in Panama, all the beautiful women have skin that's white or light brown. You rarely see a black model or Carnival queen, and even more rarely see a Chinese one. Ah, but 16-year-old Heidi Choy, a student at Colegio St. George, who was recently crowned as the Chinese community's queen in a contest at the Teatro Nacional, is living proof that among Panama's many beautiful young ladies of all races, the Chinese are well represented. Heidi models for Power Models Panama and would like to continue her studies in public relations.
