The American Society of Panama
announces its
El Valle Picnic on Saturday 15th March 2008

The American Society in Panama has its 5th Annual El Valle Picnic slated for Saturday 15th March 2008 and again it will be held at "Los Capitanes Hotel" grounds in El Valle de Anton. Please reserve the 15th of March for a fun filled day in El Valle de Anton. Please come join the American Society at its annual picnic in El Valle. From past experience it is recommended you make your Hotel reservations early as this is a busy time for El Valle and this is a popular event. We will have a cut off date of 13 March to make reservations and pick up your tickets for the event. Check out this great picture of El Valle that was taken from the Space Shuttle. You can clearly see the mountains of Panama's central ridge, with the El Valle crater clearly visible and Gatun Lake in the background. Great picture... http://photojournal.jpl.nasa.gov/tiff/PIA03369.tif

This is the tops, nothing better ...Gourmet breakfast included...exclusive cuisine & accommodations...where the IN people dine. Best restaurant in the area. People drive up from Panama City and adjacent areas to dine and wine in style. Adjacent are two new beautiful buildings each providing 8 rooms with magnificent accommodations. Total of 20 rooms. Not inexpensive, but the finer moments in our lives usually aren't cheap.

The Golden Frog Inn:

One of the nicest places to stay. Pleasant, huge pool, fireplaces.
One of my favorites.

The Anton Valley Hotel:
This is the newest locale and it is excellent. Price, accomodations & personal customer relations are excellent. It is run by two Americans and is located across the street from the Catholic Church.
