Cold Cream
Dear Dr. Mutt,
Last night I nearly poisoned myself. I heard the master’s new wife say that she was going to get some cold cream, but instead of going to the kitchen, she went to the bedroom. And then she must’ve put her whole face in the bowl because when she came back, the cream was all over her face. I waited a little while and then I went to check things out in the bedroom, and sure enough, she had left the lid off the bowl. The stuff smelled pretty good so I took a big lick – big mistake! I thought I would smother. I dragged my tongue along the carpet four or five times just to be able to swallow. Just what exactly is cold cream? Gagging

Cold
cream is not congealed milk. It is an ointment that some female
humans use to wash their faces in an attempt to stop the wrinkling
process. They slather it on and normally wipe it off with some
cotton. It’s a pretty outdated method, and I’m
surprised that
your master’s new wife would be using it, but I’m
even more
surprised that she didn’t wipe it off.
