My master was against me volunteering for the front lines, but I convinced him that I needed to do something heroic in this life, and going to battle was the only way I could prove myself worthy. So I volunteered for the Bomb Patrol. But now that I am here, I am scared, I am frightened, and I think I made a mistake. The noise is deafening – it’s like constant thunder. Take
heart. Just by volunteering you have gone the extra mile. Not many
are in your club. Those who are there with you may not express it as
openly as you do, but believe me; they are as frightened as you are.
It’s normal. So my advice to you and to all your buddies is
to keep
your noses alert, your heads low and be ever vigilant, and sniff only
where you must!
