of cappuccino conversations
memory. made bland with cream
and goodnights sealed
by Carmel kiss,
her silken gown flung with arrogant insouciance
across every sensate pillow
reveals naked form of want,
Ambrosia to be consumed
measured crescendos of satisfaction
that stick in.
